Cayley Wilson was twenty-three years old and she was lost. A decade of adolescence, attitude and eventual incarceration had landed her in the custody of Dr. Adam Stapleton, a noted Behavioral Psychologist. Cayley became one member of a group of ten social outcasts who he told were being given a second chance. He told them a lot of things Cayley had never heard before, but she couldn’t help but wonder about his personal motives.
While being sequestered at an isolated lodge in the San Juan Islands, Cayley learned about Social Psychology, Society, and Influence. Most importantly she experienced friendship and began to traverse the road to self-discovery. ‘Why had no one ever explained these critical aspects of life to her before?’ Cayley couldn’t help but wonder.
The reader is encouraged to join Cayley as she experiences her search for enlightenment while dealing with a series of traumatic and potentially fatal occurrences. Ones that seem destined to destroy Cayley and her new ‘friends’ as they strive to gain personal growth and move toward a future of freedom and individual success. This book is designed to lead the reader along their own personal journey of growth through an informative and illustrative investigation of the human condition that demonstrates how society influences us all and teaches us what we can do to take control of our lives.
